Philip Hammond’s Gaff

Hammond ‘says public sector workers overpaid’

*He should ‘never’ be prime minister’ he will be a disaster.

The Chancellor has reportedly refused to lift the 1% cap on wages for public sector workers because they receive bigger pensions.

*MaggiMay could not even win an election but gets extortionate salaries, You, MPs, are all overpaid, every last one of you All of you have massive rises and pensions, not to mention meals out and second homes again paid from the taxpayer funds. You sit in your warm office paid for by the tax payer, Your MPs have a job to stay awake at prime minister’s question time except to say yea or nay and probably don’t even know what the question was until someone next to them nudges them awake.

You should remember its televised and we can see the bloated MPs. Also MPs ‘NEVER* >> and don’t bother denying it >> make house calls anymore they expect the electorate to vote by post, by proxy or walk.

*And you don’t of course…have a big fat pension its a case of ‘do as IO say, not as I do’.

Whoever gave Hammand his job wants their bumps feeling, he was useless in the floods of 2004 and he is still useless.

Philip Hammond is at the centre of a furious row with his own Cabinet colleagues after it was claimed he told them public sector workers were overpaid.

According to The Sunday Times, at last Tuesday’s meeting the Chancellor refused to lift the controversial 1% cap on wages for public sector workers because they receive bigger pensions.

“Public sector workers are overpaid when you take into account pensions,” he is reported to have said, before saying train drivers were “ludicrously overpaid”.

His comments have emerged after senior Tories called for a rethink on the public sector pay cap, claiming it badly damaged the Conservatives in last month’s General Election.
